Ted's Frostop: Your Go-To Spot for Mouthwatering Burgers in New Orleans

Ok - if you are looking for a diner with that classic feel, then you’ll want to try this place! This isn’t the place for you if you are counting calories, but if you are looking for a tasty / simple burger, then this is the place for you! I really enjoyed my Big Bopper Burger (Grilled Cheese Bacon Burger)! Service was friendly.

Every college/university has a reasonably priced burger spot close by. This is one for Tulane Universit according to our son. I did not have the burger today, but the egg bowl with chicken, potatoes, and cheese was really good. The biscuit was buttery and perfect. I tasted my husband's pancakes, and they were good, too. Our son had French toast sticks and bacon.

Every time we are in NOLA, we drive by, and it's always closed. The towering float always beckons me. The burgers are good, the onion rings are crispy, the floats, shakes, malts, & fries are exactly as they should be - tasty!! The service was fantastic! I told the cashier it was our first time in, and she was super helpful! We'll be back.

Great, old school burger joint. Went for lunch and order a burger with onion rings, the lady that took our order at the counter was very friendly and even joked around with us , made us feel very welcomed. The burger was nice and juicy with fresh lettuce and tomatoes, the onion rings where also nice and crispy. The main attraction here is the root beer and to be honest I’m not the biggest fan of root beer but their root beer was by far the best I had, it was very frosty and smooth. Very nice atmosphere and the prices are not going to break the bank.

I loved it. The atmosphere was like a old hamburger stand. The 60s music that was playing was amazing. the hamburger and fries were excellent. The root beer floats are delicious.

Stopped in here on my trip and it did not disappoint! This place takes you back in time and gives you all the nostalgic feels. All the food is hand made from scratch & delicious and Ted’s frostop rootbeer lives up to the name it’s insanely tasty best rootbeer I’ve had! The rootbeer float that was a dream , there icecream is real icecream none of that store bought stuff you cannot get anything like this anywhere! Ted’s is definitely one of a kind no wonder it’s been around since 1926! I’m glad I stopped in here and gave it a try it was worth it. Definitely Put this on your New Orleans list!

It's been YEARS since I've had Frostop. I've been scoping this location for a while now, and I finally decided to stop in. It was nice to see it still has that old diner style. It was very clean with a relaxing atmosphere! I got the Lot-O-Burger with cheese, and it was super delicious!!!! It still has that old-fashioned burger taste. Something that's hard to find these days. Some of the newer, more modern burger joints are good, but none of them comes close to the taste of the old-fashioned ones!! It's like no other. The fries were good and seasoned well. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious!!
